Store Credit & Trade-Ins

Where to Trade In

Store credit from BookaReaderville and The Book Shelter will be honored at The Mustard Seed. Books for credit should be brought to BookaReaderville across the street, where they will be processed and added to the shared system for use here.

Book Trade-In Policy

We are happy to offer store credit for books you'd like to exchange. We evaluate trades based on expected sales and how many copies we already have on hand. For books we accept, you'll receive store credit equal to 50% of our selling price — for example, a hardcover we'd sell for $5.00 earns $2.50 in credit.
